Christine McGuire is an executive healthcare consultant whose expertise and experience is focused on providing retained executive search services for the healthcare sector.

For more than 20 years, Christine held senior positions within some of the Bay Area’s leading hospitals, spanning business planning, service line development, strategy development, marketing, contracting, physician relations and recruitment. It’s this unique knowledge of hospitals, physician medical practices, contracting, marketing, and strategy development that enables her to successfully fill each client’s unique executive positions.

Christine has provided strategic advice to CEOs, executive teams, and physicians throughout the continuous transformation of managed care and its impact on the healthcare delivery system. Christine’s career has also included vice president positions in sales and marketing for two start-up Internet health services companies, which leveraged her healthcare experience for the Internet sector and broadened her perspective on how innovation informs strategic development and operations.

In addition, Christine has held senior positions in two national, retained executive search firms specializing in healthcare. Christine’s extensive search experience includes identifying CEOs, COOs, CFOs, CNOs, and other senior executives and physician leaders for hospitals, health systems, health plans, physician groups, and other healthcare organizations.

Christine has a B.A. in Sociology/Statistics from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut and participates in a number of professional associations. Inspired by her passion for medicine, she volunteers as a patient navigator and participates in a number of professional associations. She is on the board of directors for The Opportunity House and is actively involved with Mending Kids International as well as other non-profit organizations securing life-saving treatment for children around the world.

Megan Murdoch, LCSW

Senior Recruiter

Megan Murdoch joined McGuire Consulting in 2016 and has brought her unique blend of experience in healthcare, both as a recruiter and a licensed clinical social worker, to source and screen top talent. She began her career in recruiting at a technical recruiting firm in Seattle, and then moved into managing recruitments in the nonprofit human services sector. Her prior clinical experience providing therapeutic services in hospital and healthcare settings allowed Megan to develop a keen ability to evaluate candidates as well as discern and understand the unique needs of each client. Megan holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and cultural/political communication from the University of Washington and a master’s in social work from Boston University.
